Roots, Part 1 – Memories of Chicken

Dad, a foodie and a chef, has started his own journey down gastronomical lane…

Since last night, he’s been talking about a chicken joint, Miller’s Poultry, that had three wings and a salad for like a dollar. This was in the 70s. Moist, hearty and pre-steroid are all words that have been used to describe these magical wings.

Yes, my roots journey includes the idealization of yard bird. So stereotypical, but I do likes me some chicken. (A Dave Chapelle skit is going through my head. Sigh.)
